This Moderate-graded walking trip will cover over 114.5 km in eight days as we follow the Camino Frances trail through verdant undulating countryside, rural farmland and medieval villages.
Ascend into the mountains to take in panoramic views from the Iron Cross - the highest point on the route, and explore the pretty cobbled streets of O Cebreiro with its round stone thatched houses and vast views of the patchwork quilt of green valleys below. 3. Cycle through Murcia
For those seeking a more active tour of Spain, our Southern Spain Cycling Tour sees you spend a week pedalling through the beautiful countryside and ancient villages of Murcia. Uncover some of Southern Spain’s hidden gems along the way, from the narrow lanes of Calasparra and the historic 15th-Century military Moratalla Fortress, to incredible views over the Segura River from a 12th-Century shrine as you head towards Cieza. Cycle through the oasis-like orchards and palm tree lined landscapes of the Ricote Valley, nourished by the river, before returning to Murcia for a well-earned final supper. Join this tour in February to get the best view of the almond and apricot blossoms bursting into bloom, creating a sea of pink and white flowers through the valleys. All of our cycling tours include the hire of a bike, or e-bikes if you prefer.
4. Canyoning in the Pyrenees
Get the family set for a wild adventure in the Spanish Pyrenees on our Family Pyrenees Multi-Activity Adventure. Embark on an exhilarating ride down the fizzing rapids of Noguera River and take a dip in the calm waters of Collegats Canyon. Dare to abseil down the jagged cliff face of Estaron, clamber along the riverbanks and slide down boulders on a canyoning adventure, or cling onto a hydrospeed board as you float along the river through the whirling rapids and pools. Stay on dry land for a day of mountain biking through the Montgarri Valley or jump on horseback for a hack through the countryside, before relaxing by the pool at the family-run spa hotel.
