Absolutely! Our travellers vary in age from 30s, 40s, right up to travellers in their 70s and 80s - we welcome everybody. 

For solo travellers, we find approximately half of our bookings come from solo travellers so you can expect a group mix of solo travellers, couples and friends. I am usually a solo traveller joining our tours and have always found it to be a great way to meet interesting new people. There is no compulsory single supplement - you will be paired with another solo traveller of the same gender in a twin share room, or you can choose to pay a solo supplement for your own room, totally up to you! 

We're in constant contact with our expert leaders who keep us updated on all situations on the ground. They also conduct a safety talk with you at the beginning of the trip for any destination specifics you need to be aware of. We are also Travel Aware certified which means we agree to follow the UK government's FCDO travel advise and don’t go to any places that the government say’s not to visit.

The best time for Patagonia is October through March - the weather is always changeable there, so regardless you'll need warm layers and a waterproof, but this window is their summer months and that's when we time our tours to run. Incredible part of the world!

Our Peru trip runs from June to October - you'll find you're travelling through different climatic zones on this trip though, and especially in the mountains it's good to pack for all eventualities! 

Due to the nature of the site and how it was built and its location, there are sections that feature narrow and steep steps. However, there are different circuits available around the site that vary in difficulty and elevation, so it is possible to avoid the steepest sections.
